Jeanne will be doing a brief presentation about The 70273 Project to the James Waldrop Chapter of the DAR. She will have quilts on hand to display and talk about. Refreshments are served from 10:30 to 11 followed by a short business meeting and Jeanne's presentation. Meeting adjourns at noon.
Quilt 698 made by members of the Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church Sarah Circle will be on display at Christ our Shepherd Lutheran Church on Saturday evening, 5/4/2019 and Sunday morning before the Remembrance Service. It will be on display at Congregation B'nai Israel during the Remembrance Service.

Jeanne will visit a Fiber Art class to speak to students about studio and project process. Time to be determined.
Jeanne and Amber Clifford-Napoleone, Ph.D., Professor, Director of the McClure Archivs and Museum, and Curator of The 70273 Project Exhibit at the University of Central Missouri will meet with the press, give them a tour of the exhibit, and answer questions.
Jeanne will have lunch with students in the Chapel Basement to ask and answer questions and chat about The 70273 Project, disabilities, human rights, respect, kindness, art, history, activism, and who knows what else.
Jeanne will present "The 70273 Project: A Backstage Pass" and answer questions.
Join us after Jeanne's presentation at Warrensburg First Presbyterian Church for more conversation and dinner at Café Blackadder. Dutch treat - everybody pays for their own meal. (You should probably know that I'm quite familiar with the airplane "check" game!)

Jeanne hosts The 70273 Project Block Drive in downtown Warrensburg Courthouse Square. Important notes: All ages welcome. No sewing skills necessary. Supplies will be provided for those wishing to make blocks to commemorate those who were murdered. Quilters and stitchers are welcome to drop off already completed blocks and stay to chat a while.
