United Methodist Women Quadrennial Meeting

The event in Columbus, OH is the quadrennial meeting of United Methodist Women (an organization of over 800,000 women committee to working for the welfare of women, children and youth both nationally and internationally.  About 8000 women nationally and globally will be in attendance from 18May18 to 20May18. One of the choice times will be BOLD TALK that features persons/groups telling of projects or programs in which they have participated that have been helpful to women, children or youth and/or educational.  Presenters are given a specific time (ten to fifteen minutes) to make a presentation including a 90 second video.  We have submitted information about the quilt project as well as a 90 second video that Liz Fulmer made from photos taken when we were making the quilts.  We will need only one quilt that we will hold up as the presentation is made as this is not a permanent display.  Elaine Spangler is willing to give us the quilt that she is finishing. ~ Jill Stafford
